Nature & Modernity

The design proposes a contrast and juxtaposition between nature and modernity featuring a contemporary aluminium sculpture comprised of clusters of hexagonal column’s inspired by the hexagonal pattern prevalent in nature such as the honeycomb structure or volcanic rock formations such as the Giants Causeway in Ireland. The sculpture is positioned amidst a vibrant tapestry of colourful and structural planting aesthetically dynamic and emphasising sustainable perennial planting which support our bees and pollinators. Awarded a gold medal and Best In Show at RHS Tatton Park, 2024
